Course Description
The 3-Week Headstarter Section 1 Course we offer is designed to help students develop the essential skills and strategies required to excel in this section of the GAMSAT. Our team of experienced tutors will guide students through a variety of GAMSAT-style content and questions, providing ample practice opportunities to enhance their confidence and familiarity with the section. By taking this course, students will gain a deeper understanding of how to analyze and interpret complex texts, and develop critical thinking skills necessary to tackle this section.
- Week 1: What’s Behind The Text? (Purpose of the text + Understanding human emotions + Text dissection)
- Week 2: Overcoming The Vocabulary Barrier (Techniques + Tools for difficult vocabulary)
- Week 3: Section 1 In A Nutshell (Exposure to scope of different text types + Intro to S1 exam strategies)
